I’m high lol.
Like the floating in ecstasy kind of high.
I believe it’s the aftermath of a conference I went for yesterday.
It was 5 hours of depth, emotions, wisdom, clarity, fun, laughter, strength, pictures, food, vulnerability and giveaways at PowWow 2.0 with E’. I loved how bare everyone was, nobody was trying to paint any funny picture of perfection or having it all together. I saw sincerity and hunger; participants who were sincere and vulnerable enough to share their insecurities and hunger to get answers and results.
PowWow was just so humbling for me. Now, I have crazy IMMENSE respect for stay at home mums.
It’s crazy how society just belittles domestic queens and just sign them off with the ‘what are they doing sef’ line
I learnt mehn! I learnt, to be unjudging of people, the decisions they make and the choices they take.
I left there FILLED. Not just with grilled chicken and smoothies which by the way was heavenly, but with substance. PowWow was an ACCURATE meeting. I really cannot put words to all that went down there, it was just so enlightening, and I was able to pick principles and apply to my own life. Like I told momma this morning, that meeting wrecked me. I sent scribbles of what went down to my friends yesterday, after promising them a proper lengthy transcript.I am not sure when that will be, as I still haven’t recovered.
One thing though..
My spirit added weight.
Lil gist: While I was busy keeping an eye on things I ran into Bankole Williams of ‘Live Your Dreams Africa’.
His office was just in the next room, down the hall from the conference room and what’s crazy is I had just gotten a mail from him earlier so seeing him walk into that office was a ‘dejavu’ moment for me.
Like what da heck’
Of course I said hi, introduced myself and then kept it moving.
I have a feeling we will ‘meet’ in the future. AMEN!!!
