Divergent.

There are some places in life you will not be received well.

There are some places in life where your truth will not be relevant.

There are some places in life where your truth will not be heard.

There are some places where you won’t just find a spot, where you won’t find your spot.

You see, it is not about you, It is about what is on your inside.

At times people can spot difference a mile away and because authenticity is something that is unfamiliar to them, they are averse to you .

When you are a carrier of a certain kind of truth, you will not be received in some places.

Own your truth.

Own your truth not to demean but to affirm.

Remember your difference is not steeped in superiority towards others, so keep it calm.

Difference does not strive to be noticed, being noticed is a consequence of being different. An unintended consequence.

So own your truth.

Own your truth and then refuse to be tolerated.

I mean, the tolerated that is heavily steeped in condescension.

You see, it is either you are accepted or not.

You should not be tolerated.

Refuse to be tolerated.

“I am tolerating  you” is not a compliment.

It has never been and it should not be.

Some things about you can be tolerated, some unpleasant things about you can be tolerated but who you are, the entirety of your person should not be tolerated.

Refuse it.

To accept to be tolerated is to concede that there is something about you that is not exactly right.

That you are different does not mean you are not right. You are right, you just are not the right that most people are accustomed to and that is fine.

You are right.

Who you are is right.

Your difference is not a plague, it is not a disadvantage, do not accept condescension.

Refuse to be tolerated.

Refuse it firmly.

Afterwards, go on ahead to teach others to understand that tolerance is not a word used to qualify difference.

I hope you got this?

Don’t forget to be.

Remember that is where your authenticity lies and just by being, and as honestly as you can afford, you are giving others the permission to be themselves.
